Types of glass we supply
Toughened (tempered) glass
Heat-treated so it is roughly four to five times stronger than ordinary annealed glass of the same thickness, and designed to break into small blunt granules rather than sharp shards. This is the glass to use for shower enclosures, frameless doors, staircase and balcony railings, office partitions and table tops — anywhere a person could walk into it. One important point: toughened glass cannot be cut or drilled after tempering, so every hole, notch and cut-out has to be finalised at the measurement stage.
Laminated glass
Two or more sheets bonded around a PVB interlayer. If it breaks, the fragments stay stuck to the interlayer and the opening stays closed. Used for overhead glazing, skylights, facade panels above head height, and anywhere security or sound reduction matters.
Frosted and etched glass
Acid-etched or sandblasted to obscure the view while still passing daylight. Common in bathroom windows, cabin partitions, main door panels and pooja room shutters. Designs can be cut to your own artwork.
Tinted and reflective glass
Cuts solar heat gain and glare — which matters a great deal in Gujarat, where a west-facing room with plain glass can become unusable through the afternoon.
Back printed (lacquered) glass

Looking after your glass
Clean with a soft cloth and a mild glass cleaner, or plain water with a little dish soap. Avoid abrasive scourers and strong acidic cleaners — they etch the surface permanently. In hard-water areas, which covers most of Anand district, wipe shower glass down after use or have a water-repellent coating applied; otherwise scale marks build up and become very difficult to remove. Check the hardware on frameless glass doors once a year, and have the floor spring adjusted if the door starts to drop or drag.

What thickness of glass do I need for a shower cubicle?
Most shower cubicles use 8 mm or 10 mm toughened glass. 8 mm is standard for typical bathroom-sized panels; 10 mm is used for larger panels and for frameless doors that carry their own hinges. We confirm the thickness after measuring the opening.
Can toughened glass be cut or drilled after it is made?
No. Once glass has been toughened it cannot be cut, drilled or notched — any attempt will shatter the whole panel. Every hole and cut-out has to be marked before the glass goes for toughening, which is why we always measure on site first.
How long does a glass order take in Anand?
